I Tripped On The Red Carpet

Hi lovelies, I hope you all had a nice weekend. I was supposed to go see Good Deeds on Friday, but I really didn't feel up to it. I stayed home and relaxed. Saturday I went polish shopping and got some really nice goodies for this weekend's mini giveaway. I posted my polish survey for the brands I have for the giveaway for anyone who wants to take the survey. After shopping I went to see Good Deeds. I loved it! Go check it out. My favorite part was the last sentence of the movie, "I don't know what's out there, but I'm gonna find it." That's been my state of mind for the past 6 months. I've been getting confirmation about my plans, goals, and dreams from the least expected things. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that God's gracious hand of favor is on me (and you too) :D Then my honey and I went to the Kona Grill (Asian fusion) and Yogen Fruz (yogurt) If y'all haven't been to any of those places, go it's totally worth it. While we were at the Galleria (one of the best shopping malls in the world) I decided to stop at Neiman Marcus and bought my very first Deborah Lippman polish. I'll talk about that polish in another post. Anyway, on to my mani.

Today, I have a new brand by Wet n Wild called Spoiled. Every time I look at polishes I naturally gravitate to reds. So, that's what I have today. I Tripped On The Red Carpet is a bright red with a pink/purplish shimmer. You can't see the pink/purplish shimmer in the pics, sorry :(  Once again I don't have anything to say about the color, because it's red and I just love it. The formula was great kinda crellyish, but the brush I didn't care for. It's very wide, you have to be very careful when applying otherwise you'll be doing a massive clean up. I'm posting a pic of the brush. I used 2 coats and topped with SV TC. Have a great day lovelies :D

Pink Wednesday

Hi lovely ladies :D It's Pink Wednesday, I hope y'all's weeks has been great so far! Happy Hump day! lol

Today, I have Wet n Wild Candy-licious. I bought this pink last Friday at Walgreens and let me tell you, I had a look of pure torture! Even the sales clerk said, "Are you ok?" HAHA I explained my dislike of pink nail polish  (she's the only one who knows why I don't like it.) She says to me, "You need to get the most dreaded pink you see here and wear it for a whole week to get over it." My eyes almost popped out their sockets when she said that! LOL Well, I did get what I thought was the most dreaded pink, but I'm not gonna wear it for a whole week, I'll do 2 days! :D I used 2 coats and topped with Out the Door TC. This pink isn't bad at all. It's a creme bubble gum pink (to me) The formula was ok, it had bad patchy spots. It kind of leveled out with the 2nd coat. I say kind of because you can see on my pinky it didn't.  I'll show pics of the 1st coat. The brush was very wide. If you like wide brushes this is great. I think the formula would be good for stamping. Have a great day ladies :D

This is one coat. You can't really see the patchy spots but believe me they're there!

2 coats with Out the Door TC. See my pinky

Blue Wants To A Millionaire

Hi ladies, Thursday is here, which means we're closer to the weekend :D Sorry, I didn't post yesterday. I had a ton of homework and I fear the weekend I'll be swamped as well :(

Today, I have Wet n Wild Blue Wants To Be A Millionaire. I bought this last year around October O.O Anyway, inside this color looks smokey blue, but in the sun it's a soft blue with a lot of sparkle. I was pleasantly surprised and received a lot of compliments with this color. This is a very sheer holo blue and (to me)  jelly-ish and applied like butter. I just love it! I used 3 coats and topped with Essie Good 2 go. I'm practicing my left handed painting skills (I'm right handed) so you get to see my right hand. Not to bad if I do say so myself, but of course the formula was awesome, so application was easy breezy :D I couldn't get a good firm grip on the bottle so my fingers looks kinda awkward, so just focus on the pretty color :D The second pic is kinda blurry, but I wanted y'all to see the pretty multicolored glitter. Have a great day ladies :D

Sagreena the Teenage Witch

Hi lovely ladies, It's Monday, the start of a new week! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. Friday, I went Christmas shopping again. I went to Ross and some kids were opening boxes of polish. At first I was like what are you doing?! Then I calmed down and thought to myself I'm just gonna wait for these rug rats to finish! After they opened four sets of polish, they'd had enough. I grabbed every single one of them and got them for a $1 each! At first they were like we'll sell them for $1.99. I was like, no, they come from a set. If you sell them at that price it's more than the set price (I had the boxes to show them the set price) Now not all of them should've been $1 some should've been less, but I did save $16 :D Ok, enough of my ramblings.

Today, I have Wet n Wild Sagreena the Teenage Witch and Wet n Wild Party of Five Glitters. Sagreena the Teenage Witch is really pretty and festive. The formula is great, but the bristles were very stiff :/ It is somewhat sheer, I used 2 coats. it's a great substitute for Zoya's Holly. I'll post that pic too. Party of Five Glitters is a medium multi color glitter. The formula is great too. At first I didn't think I was going to like it because very little glitter caught on to the brush, but I have to say it worked out really well. Other than the bristles, I have no complaints.

Today, I'm going to post some left hand pics. I rarely do it, because as we know when we use our less dominant hand to polish, the other hand doesn't look to so great. I must say I'm getting better though :D
