John Legend

Hi everyone, It's Friday! Tonight my honey and I are having movie night. We're watching My Sister's Keeper. I know it's kinda sad, but it's a moving story. Today's mani is motivated by John Legend, I was listening to 'Platinum and Gold' and this mani was created :D I used to have the CD but someone stole it :/ Anyway, I wanted some bling bling! It turned out exactly like I pictured in my head :D It totally rocks! I could've done just a gold and layered it with silver glitter polish and be done, but I thought that would've been too sharp. I wanted something soft so I sponged. Great job me! Hehe...Have great Friday :D

I'm putting 2 pics because I couldn't decide.
1 coat Rush 60 Second High Speed Top Coat, 2 layers Pure Ice Pure Ice Platinum, sponged Savvy Golden Honey Nail Lacquer, 2 coats Sally Girl mini silver glitter (sorry it doesn't have a name) 2 coats Rush 60 Second High Speed Top Coat.

Chanel

Hi everyone! Sorry for the late post. I've had a busy day. Today's mani was fast and simple but so elegant. Black and gold is always elegant and Chanel-ish. The gold is a Savvy brand. Nothing great about this brand. I think it'll have to be an awesome color for me to buy again. I could have gotten by with one coat, but out of habit I did two. The dry time isn't so great, even with the fast dry top coat. Two hours later when I showered the polish softened and dented :/ I'm not really into black so you'll see those two names a lot. o_O I have great news! My new camera will be here sometime next week! WHOOP WHOOP! Have a great evening :D

Pink Wednesday

Hi everyone, It's pink Wednesday. Today I played with my konad plates (m61). I'm really nervous about showing this mani, but I'm gonna anyway O_O I think it turned out pretty good for my first time actually doing my whole finger. I learned several things 1. Be fast, very fast! 2. Be patient. 3. Add top coat in one application to avoid runs 4. Have fun :D What I like about this design is it's forgiving. What I mean is, if you don't get all the design on your finger you can go back and stamp where you have the bald spot. But, be careful. Man oh man taking yesterday's polish off was a total pain! It really stained my fingers! Ugh, I was like really! It took me forever to get the stain off and my fingers still look greenish :/ So please excuse my stained fingers :) Ok, everyone have a great hump day! P.S. The pic on the left side bar is me and my mom. Isn't she beautiful :):):):)

Layered Tips

Hi everyone! Today I wanted teal with a little sparkle. I really love how this mani turned out :) The base color is a matte with a bit of a yellow shimmer. Really pretty on it's own. Whenever I do manis w/o a tip, design, or a layered glitter I feel like something is missing idk why, but that's how I feel o_O I didn't want to completely layer the whole nail, so I just layered the corner with a glitter. The pic makes the color more blue than teal, no justice at all! Have a great day guys! :D

Jesse's Colors

Hi everyone it's Monday! I hope y'all had a great weekend, because I sure did :) Before I forget, Friday I went to see Courageous. It's a great movie, a must see. Go check it out. Yesterday my bf had to go to Walgreens so, I asked him if he'd get me a nail polish and the great man he is said yes! I told him to choose a color he likes. He comes back with 2! Wet n Wild Rain Check (I already own) no worries I'll exchange it and Wet n Wild Sunny Side Up. He said He thinks those colors go good together. Not a color combo I would have chose but he put thought into the colors. So today's mani is dedicated to him :D I did a side tip at first, then because I wanted to practice using my dotting tools I added dots. The final look is a bit much for my taste even had the dots been straight. I don't have experience using tools and was nervous :/ I think the only finger that has a straight line is my thumb. LOL But I had fun practicing! I now know how to get it right, Practice makes perfect :) See you tomorrow :)

Shimmery Magenta

Hi everyone, it's blah blah (football) day! I provided a feast for my bf and his best friend. I made cheese dip, wings and pizza. Yes, all from scratch and I must say I out did myself today. I put my foot in it! Hehe :D Okay, I have several pics of today's mani. I love the colors! I bought a Sinful Colors matte a few weeks ago and didn't really get down with it. Well, I hate to not use what I buy and Friday when I was out camera shopping I found a Sally Hansen glitter nail polish on sale for $1.46 (never pass up a deal) and thought "oh, I can layer it over the matte." When I got a look at the finished mani, I was so pleased :D It looks like a dress I saw once. When I find the pic, I'll post it. I found a top coat that says it keeps your nails from staining, let's see if it's true to it's word. I'll let y'all know next month. Have a great Sunday everyone! P.S. The pic I've added to the side bar is Erik (my cowboy) my son and me. I'll be posting a different pic periodically.

Layered Seaweed

Happy Saturday everyone :D Today October 1st begins Breast Cancer Awareness month. Let's do all we can to spread awareness and pray for a cure. Well yesterday I went on the hunt for an inexpensive camera. First, I went to Best Buy and as soon as I start looking at cameras this guy comes up to me chit chatting about cameras. I'm like dude seriously :/ he just would not stop talking (he was not an employee) Normally, I'm the first to carry a conversation and I DO love to talk! Hehe Anyway, I ended up leaving that store and go to Target and most of the display cams didn't work :/ The camera Gods were not with me! Okay, enough about that. Today's mani is a layered. I had to do something really fast because, I'll be busy most of the day. I just layered Finger Paints Tough Art To Follow with Sinful Colors Nail Junkie and used Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Anti-Chip Top Coat. Outside it looks looks dark green-ish blue. It totally rocks! The glitter polish looks like a meteor rock or something like that. I love it! By guys, have a great day :D
